Dr Rasha Sharaf-Director of SPU |
| Dr. Rasha Saad Sharaf is currently the director of the Strategic Planning Unit at the Ministry of Higher Education in Egypt since 2006, at the same time; she is an associate Professor of comparative Education and Education Administration at Helwan University. She is leading planning activities at the national, regional and institutional levels of higher education sector. She has provided technical assistance, consultations and training in topics related to education and management among which strategic planning, programs and projects, quality assurance, gender issues and teacher education. Her research interest is in higher education planning, policy studies, higher education reform, comparative education and education administration. She is the founder of the Virtual Graduate Diploma in Education administration at Helwan University. She has been on official missions and study tours to each of Sweden, France, China, Belarus, Portugal, Morocco, Malta, USA and Germany. Sharaf holds a PhD in strategic planning for higher education, a master’s degree in comparative education and education administration, a graduate diploma in foundations of education and a Bachelor degree in TEFL. |

| Dr Hesham Gomma-Deputy Director |
| He is an Associate Professor at Faculty of Engineering – Helwan University; his Specialization is Educational Planning.
Dr. Hesham was Planning Consultant for Higher Education in the SPU since September 2006. He is responsible for conducting education analysis sector for the university engineering education in Egypt, Working on developing strategic plan for higher education in South Valley region and Alexandria region, developing and analyzing education indicators, and providing training courses to different key players in higher education. |

Dr Reem Aly-Head of Technical Studies Department |
| Dr. Reem is an Assistant Professor at faculty of Education, Helwan University. Her Specialization is comparative education and educational administration with emphasize on E-learning and higher education. Helwan University selected her Phd thesis as the best research work at 2008. Since June 2007, Dr. Reem was working as a Consultant for Higher Education Planning at the Strategic Planning Unit SPU, Ministry of Higher Education. By 2009, she became the Head of technical studies department at SPU. Coordination and follow-up the different research projects represent the main responsibility of her, as well as participating at specialized studies in higher education planning as researcher. |

| Ms Heba Bahaa ElDin-Planning Expert for Higher Education |

| She joined SPU as a planning expert for higher education since September 2006; she is responsible for coordinating planning for higher education at regional level project, following-up and supervising the information system cycle at SPU and participating in the preparation of researchs and special studies conducted by SPU. Prior to that, she was working as an Information specialist, member of IT Team (Information Unit), Minster\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s Office MoHE,also she was the head of the training section in the minster\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s office. she is Microsoft certified system administrator MCP & MCSA, and she is N+ compTIA certified , She has BsC .of Social work 1996 her post graduate studies are : Diploma in Information Systems & Computer, Diploma in Management Science, Preliminary stage for Master Degree and International Diploma in educational planning and management IIEP-UNESCO , Currently registered for the Master degree in educational development at Sadat academy for management science |

| He graduated from Faculty of Commerce - Cairo University in July 2007. He joined SPU as a Data Management Specialist in September 2007. He took a training course and became a GIS Specialist in June 2008. In June 2009 he was promoted as a GIS manager. He is responsible for managing GIS project ,data processing and interpretation,data analysis and developing maps for studies and researches. |

Mr Ihab Hassan-Administrator |
| He graduated from Faculty of law. Cairo University in July 2004. He joined SPU as an Administrator. He is responsible for managing petty cash, archiving system, writing official reports for the SPU and communicating with exoteric agencies for data collection.

| She is ORACLE certified 10g OCA & OCP (Admin& Forms) and UPGRADE 11g (OCP)
She has originally graduated from the faculty of Commerce in 2002.
She joined SPU as DBA system Administrator & Oracle Developer in June 2009
and was promoted as the Database department Manager in October 2009. She is
Responsible for the following tasks:
Improving the effectiveness of the database tools and services, Ensuring system security and backed-up, Monitoring database performance, improving the technology used, Developing new databases, Networking with data providers, Monitoring data entry procedures and troubleshooting and Coordinating with data integration at GIS department.

| He graduated from Faculty of Commerce- Ain Shams University in July 2008. He joined SPU as a Data Specialist .He is responsible for data entry. |

| She graduated from Faculty of Computer and Information Systems- 2002. She worked as Web developer and System Analyst. She was granted the scholarship of IBM Decision Support Systems track(DSS) to have two certificates CIW512 as DB2 Developer and CIW513 DB2 Administrator also worked as Database developer. She joined the Strategic Planning Unit- Ministry of Higher Education in June 2009 as website administrator. |
