Technical Studies
    
The Technical Studies Department Strategic Planning Unit, Ministry of Higher Education, is responsible for the preparation of studies and specialized research in the planning of higher education in Egypt, and to address the central issues related to the future of higher education. And the Section provides a range of studies and working papers published on several levels, including national, regional and sectoral levels, in the form of a series of periodic studies specializing in the development of higher education in Egypt, which addresses some of the issues that float on the ground from time to time and the impact on higher education. This side is the other side, the part of some studies and surveys in conjunction with international bodies entrusted with the development of higher education. Provides translations of some of the most important studies and articles on scientific studies and international experience in the development of higher education.
   

The Department aims to become as a think tank to provide support for the Strategic Planning Unit in relation to issues of planning and development in higher education, and a study of recent trends in this field and make it available, as well as access to sources of information for those involved in the process of strategic planning unit, and is mainly aimed to identify trends the views of citizens and Technicals about issues of higher education of current and projected through the opening of channels of mass communication
